Preparation

• Clean lips with either Ooops! Remover, witch hazel, or a warm wet cloth.
• Dry lips completely!
• Shake LipSense color to ensure a smooth application.

 

Application

• When applying, make sure to scrape off most of the excess color back into the tube. Thin layers is the key!
• Apply a thin layer of color in one swipe from corner to corner in the same directions. Do not swipe back and forth.
• Lips may tingle at first, which is completely normal. This is because of the cosmetic-grade alcohol in the product.
• Keep lips apart. Let dry completely before moving on.
• Repeat the application process two more times (three coats total), being sure your previous coat is dry before applying another.
• Apply Glossy Gloss when dry. Rub lips together, and you're good to go!

 

Removal

• When you are ready to remove your color, apply Ooops! Remover to lips. Let sit for 30 seconds.
• Rub lips together. They will start to feel gritty as the color breaks up.
• Wipe clean with a warm wet cloth or makeup remover wipe.
• Repeat if necessary.

 

Tips and Tricks

• Apply LipSense Gloss throughout the day (especially before and after eating) to keep your lips hydrated and increase the longetivity of your color.
• As you continue to wear LipSense, your lips will go through an "exfoliation process," which is completely normal. This means the color is working to rid your lips of old skin, dirt, and wax. The process can last 1-2 weeks.
• Remember to only use LipSense products on your lips! This is extremely important, as other lip products tend to have wax in them. This means that your lips will have to keep exfoliating to remove all the wax!
• Instead of using waxy chapsticks, apply Glossy Gloss or LipBalm to bare lips to keep them well-hydrated.
